Many YT members are first time dog owners, and this may be the first time in their lives they have been responsible for another being. Going to an emergency room can be a very expensive and time consuming process, and some people may feel the need for more experienced people to tell them it's the right thing to do. Sometimes family members might even be telling them that it's not serious and to wait for vet normal hours. This sort of thing is always more difficult on these long weekends when our regular vets office is closed. Hopefully, everyone has an emergency number to call with an educated person to answer the question: "Should I bring my dog to the emergency room?" I'm just so glad so many people take the advice and take their dog's to the vets.
Yes i understand funds are limited sometimes i mean money is tight for us as well, But some of these threads latley have me really concerned. I mean some of these are not general help threads they are life threatning situations that need immediate vet care. Those are who i am refering to. I am just concerned they may take some bad advice and their dog could die. Or they may wait to long waiting for an answer
