Thanks for your response. I have mixed the beef, veggies and oatmeal together and then fried it in a pattie. When it is done I drained any grease off on paper towels. I was worried that maybe the oatmeal soaked up grease because it was uncooked oats so this time I am cooking the oats first. At least my failures with Topper don't go to waste the big dog thinks they are all awesome!!
