I sure do wish your baby, Misa well. Winston has what I call seizures...he is 4 years old as well. The first time it happened I rushed him to the vet, they suspected heat stroke...then they thought it was from eating a toadstool/mushroom...but when they checked his glucose/blood sugar it was only 32, which is way too low. Now, my boy eats well, never misses meals...so why on earth would his sugar drop like this? Of course seizure activity can also lower blood sugar. So, now I still don't know which comes first the seizure or the hypoglycemia? He is not tiny, he's about 8 pounds...so all I know to do is keep him well fed...4 meals a day and hope for the best. He does still have his episodes...but not as frequently...sometimes he'll go months without having one and then again sometimes he has them more often. I've not been able to figure it all out as yet...just very curious.
So, did they check Misa's blood sugar? I'm sure they did...as you said her levels were all normal. Maybe she should have a Bile Acid Test as well...Winston's was normal, but it's worth having checked and very reasonably priced...to rule out a liver shunt problem.
Give her an extra snuggle from Winston and I...and a big hug to you as well, I know how terrified you must have been...I know I always feel so helpless...but NutriCal always brings him out of it. Keep me updated...I'm very interested in what you find out.
