So Bear loves to bark & whine

Every day he wakes me up anywhere from 5:30am-7:30am with his barking & whining. I keep him in a play yard where he has food, water, a bed, a blanket, & a puppy pad. I only put him there when I can't watch him, when my daughter is crawling around, when I'm sleeping at night, or when I leave the house. He HATES being in there. He whines & barkes like CRAZY every time I put him in there, & it's seriously getting annoying! I need some sleep, lol. I have tried putting coins in a jar & rattling them, banging two pots together, & spraying him in the face with water, but none of these work!

I can't just let him sit there & whine & bark, because I live in a duplex & the neighbors would hear him & complain. Do they outgrow this stage or is it forever? I know that he is still very young (he's only two months) & I'm sure that he gets quite lonely & scared, but I can't let him sleep in bed with me because I KNOW for sure that he would pee in my bed. I have also tried putting the play yard in my room at night, but this doesn't help either. I also take him out to potty outside when he starts whining & barking, but that doesn't help either! Does anyone have any advice as to curb this behavior? I definitely don't want him to grow up & think that it's ok to bark & whine whenever he wants something.
