Here's an update. My Aunt Ann is still waiting for her surgery which is May 30th. While we are all waiting for her surgery, another of my Aunts just found out that she has lung cancer.
So, here I go again with all the emotions and shock. I'm not sure how much more emotions I can go thru. I know its not about me, but they are my most favorite Aunts and I'm close to both of them. Although, Aunt Ann lives just right outside of Chicago. My Aunt Faye just lives 10 houses down from me and I see her everyday. The doctors gave her 2 options: 6 months of chemo or 3 months of family and friends. She chose 3 months. I know doctors can't really give an accurate time frame because God only knows when it's our time. I just feel that since they gave did give her a time frame, she's just gonna give up really fast. So, I'm indefinite need of prayers for both Aunts.
I'll let ya'll know how Aunt Ann's surgery goes on the 30th.
