well i just started fetch training with my new yorkie puppy...(i have other dogs that fetch already) but...lets see...he is 13 weeks...and he is already doing it! his attention spand is not like an older puppy but over time it will get better...i would say about 12 to 13 weeks he should be able to get it. also its a great time to start target training...if i say go night night...he will go to his crate and sit down and wait for a treat...so good luck on that! plus it never hurts to start early just have patience for one so small and young...good luck! |
