OK, my daughters asked a neighbor friend to go to the movies with us tonight. She ran home, asked her Mom, came back with a "yes" answer and said that her Mom said it was such a good idea that she was going to go too. I thought, "great".

Hours later, the Mom came over to get her daughter and said that they were also going but were going to a different movie. Then as they walked home, another child was dropped off for a sleep over (I saw the bags) and they were all going together.

Basically, we were ditched! I'm not mad, but find it very strange. Our daughters hang out alot, so letting our kids go with each other places is not a big deal. I suppose I should have called the mom earlier in the day, but was busy painting in the back yard. It was such a nice day.

Does anyone else find this to be weird?
