But Latley have have been putting them in time out and grounding them.
Right now Trieden is grounded to his room with no T.V and no Toys |
When my fiance was living at home and his nephew was living there also, he kinda took the "father" role and would punish him when he acted up, he was getting into a lot of trouble at school and just not listening. The thing his nephew hated the most was he would have to sit on the basement stairs, of course the door was still open, and he would sit on the second or third step up, right by the family room so it wasn't like he was being shoved in the basement...but he hated it! Another time he took every single toy of his away, and each day he was good and had no trouble, he would get one toy back. Maybe since the weather is getting warmer, I'm sure your boys want to be outside, so hopefully the grounding will have an affect on them. Maybe if they have a few good days for a whole week, take them for icecream, but if one acts up, don't take him for ice cream that week. Could you even sign them up for little league, or something else to get them occupied?
Ok so I lied in my first post, I guess I did have some ideas, LOL. I hope something works though!
