Take a day and plan to do nothing else but study you pup and it's cues. Sit on the floor by the potty pad and soft play (no wild stuff). You will notice when you puppy loses interest. Place on the potty pad and wait. If they walk off put them gently back. Sooner or later they will go on the pad but you have to have patience. Once you know your puppy's cues you will not have to be so close to the potty pad. I take Daisy outside as much as possible. I do crate her at night. When I take her out we go directly outside. During the day if I am going to be gone 2 hours or less I crate her. If I will be gone more I leave her in her pen (my utility room). As soon as I get home I take her out. Any time she leaves confinement we go out plus every 45 minutes to 1 hour. My hardest challenge had been for my boys to follow this routine. Training them is harder than her! Good luck!
