Well, I guess I'll add my two cents here. First off, I am so sorry for your loss and I can understand how upset and disappointed you are. I'm thinking maybe you need some time to kind of recover from that so maybe it's ok to wait for another litter but then I guess you have no guarantees there. If you have your heart set on a female then you might be disappointed with a male and there is something to be said for getting a puppy and watching them grow up as opposed to an adult dog. I'm sure you could love them all but if you want the whole experience, I would say either wait or find another breeder who already has a baby girl. But really, the ultimate decision is yours. I wish you luck and whatever you decide, can't wait to see photos of your baby!
