My six month old male cannot calm down. My 18 month old female is at the tail end of her heat and he constantly dogs her. He did eat tonight, but his skin is warm to the touch and sometimes he gets so worked up his tongue hangs out and he pants. Now I know this is a natural thing, but he cannot reach her yet which is a good thing, because he is too young. Whenever I take her out of his proximity he cries. Is there something that I can do for him to get him to give up the fight so to speak? I feel bad for the little guy. He's obsessed.
