Would Benadryl relieve the itching? I have never given it to mine so I don't know what the dosage would be or whether it will help.
I have heard that baking soda will relieve itching from fleas.
I have also heard that if you bath your dog and then put 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar in two quarts of water as a rinse, that it will relieve itching from fleas or allergies. Supposedly, it will also keep your dog odor free for a month, and they do not smell like vinegar. I have never tried this, though maybe someone else here has?
I would call the vet and ask what would be safe to use. She is scratching to relieve the itch, so if you could find something to help relieve it, she may stop scratching.
