There was a volunteer there that recently moved here from Florida and she was well aware of Petland. She spoke to the manager before I did and clued her in about Petland. The manager writes a weekly column for our area newspaper and said her next column will be on this subject. I gave her research info about Petland and told her how to find out more. I also spoke with a producer at our local TV station and sent them an e-mail detailing some things about Petland at their request. It is being passed on to the assignment producer who was on set at the time of my call. I'm waiting to hear back from him but the producer I spoke with seemed quite interested so maybe we can get some action out of them. I think maybe I've gotten the ball rolling but I will see this through to the best of my ability. If I hadn't been a member here, I would never have known about this company and the horrible things they do. Thanks to all who have posted in the past about Petland. Having heard about them on YorkieTalk, it sure lit a fire under my butt when I found out they're opening a store here!!
God bless you!
