I bought them for a vacation. I thought it would be better than lugging razors AND shaving cream. We fell in love with them! I've actually bought them as gifts, because we often don't want to spend extra on ourselves.
Funny about feeling silly about posting this to YT. That's just one of my favorite things (besides the Yorks of course!!) about YT. Learning new oddball things to try (I.E., I now love OCM for my face, and I know that I want a Dyson Vac and a Shark Steamer!!)!!
About shaving "elsewhere", I don't think it works the best. The shaver is much larger than a regular razor so it's a little tougher for "close work".
