In so far as the furniture salesman. He's legit. We bought our sofa and loveseat yesterday from him. We started talking when I said I have little Yorkies and need something durable. He's in his late 60's. He welled up with tears when he said that he and his wife had to put their 13 yr. old yorkie down in December due to Kidney Failure from that pet food problem. He wasn't looking for anything. Hubby told him I was involved with rescue and I volunteered to look for him. He does not want to buy from a breeder or pet store. He wants to rescue. And, he's aware of the price for a rescue. He's just trying to give a home to a dog that really needs it. He's even open to a small mix that is mostly Yorkie.
Let's hope that no one falls for this bs in the paper. I'm going to contact the prosector's office (Internet fraud) not that I expect to get anyone on a Memorial Weekend Friday.

I was just wondering if someone just put that message on any answering machine and people think it's a church, or indeed the number is for an actual church. Is this the same number that it listed in the phone book for the church? This must be doubly hard to take because the man sounds like a perfect match for this pet. Shame, shame, shame.
