Aggression My Benni had a hospitalization and when he returned home he was very aggressive. Several times a day, I placed him on his back and gently held him down. I made sure that I was the first in and/or out of the door. You need to show the pup that you are in charge and the "leader of the pack". As for biting, try rubbing clear antiperspirant on your hands/ankles, wherever he is biting. They hate the taste and it stopped my boys from chewing on any number of things. Also, and I know that this sounds totally weird, but Benni would get aggressive and snappy when I brushed or groomed him, at a friends suggestion, I bought some aroma therapy oils (ones for relaxation and serenity). I place a few drops behind Benni' ears prior to brushing and grooming and now he almost always falls asleep while I am doing it LOL. Good luck and if you cannot handle him, please let us aid you in rehoming your little guy. Best wishes. |
