Maggie had ultrasound and xray today, she has a bladder stone and needs surgery. Of course I'm a nervous wreck at the thought of this.

Info please? Is this surgery worse than surgery for spaying? I'm trying to get some kind of a feel for what I'm going to be dealing with.

Are complications common? How serious of a procedure is it?

Thanks for any help you can give me. I'm so upset I feel nauseated. I just lost my 10 year old Yorkie, Munchie two months ago, I don't want to have to go thru this, but have no choice. Poor little Maggie. She is 2 years old and weighs 4 lbs, btw.
