yeah, i think you're right kim. micro chip by the breeder is the best way to solve the prob. but some people may not be able to afford all that is involved. i persoanlly dont micro chip my puppies but i do have my adults chipped now. it took me a while to get them all done. i was down to 3 and week before last, i got the last one done. i've heard alot of controversy lately about the micro chip vs. tattoos and i even started a thread about it few days ago and didnt get alot of replies...anyhoo, i'm for the chip even though the tattoo is visable by the naked eye, i just dont want to look at ugly green numbers or words on my babies...just me, and tattoos are fine. just a personal pref.
