I bet she learned a big lesson from her mistake. I think it is wrong that they did that to her but if she wanted so much for the dog she should of given them a set price, not let them chose the amount
Some people cant see paying $$$ for a dog at all ( my mother in law can't get over how much we paid for Jeter, she said she would never spend more than $100 on a "pet") let alone one that is older no mater if it had great training or not. I really do not see how she could legally go after them, she accepted the check and let them take the dog without looking at the check first.
