I've never heard of getting with another dog or same dog later and getting pregnant with another pup. I always thought like they told you at the vet. Once pregnant that's it.
No I wouldn't think that she would still be in heat. A dogs cycle usually last 3 weeks 1 week coming in 1 week in (when they can get pregnant) and one week out. I think this is right.
Was she with another yorkie?

I have never bred yorkie's before but have had several litters of Jack Russell Terrier's. Even had one female who we had bred with our male and a couple days later my son let her out and she got with a stray. So when the pups were born there was 2 full blooded Jack Russell's and two heinz 57's in the same litter.
