Anne I know what your going through I bought one at Walmart last year when Tiffanie whelped her litter, didn't even realize that it had the auto shut off on it...Thanks goodness I had the one from my Hubbys Grandmother it's old but a good one. I'm going to try finding one now before Next Spring.

Good luck finding a heating pad. Wonder how much shipping would be if someone here in the States could find you one??? Wonder if it would be cheeper for you to go that route??? Just a thought. Hugs, Lee
