Okay, here's one for you.
I put my boys' food down at the same time. Jackson woofs his down...he's not waiting for anyone lol. But, Jake will stand there and STARE at his food until Jackson is done. When he sees that Jackson is finished, he "guards" his bowl and will growl if Jackson comes near it. I had a problem with this at first, with Jackson wanting to eat Jake's food. I've worked on that, and now Jackson just finishes his food and goes on about his business. But, Jake will still growl at him as he walks by, and then he'll eat. It's almost like Jake WANTS Jackson to try to come after it.
But, in the mornings this doesn't happen. They both just eat at the same time. Maybe Jake is too hungry in the morning to wait? I don't know! lol |
