 breeding during FIRST heat???
from what ive heard/learned breeding in the 1st heat is a NO NO! is this true for all yorkies? Pheobe is 10.5 months old and is almost exactly 7 lbs. shes in great health and is not acting aggressive to males. i have two large breed male dogs..un altered. they are interested in her of course..but not trying to mate..although i still keep them seperate from her. any time she comes near them she shoves herself at them. ive been calling her miss slutty pants.
my friend has a male AKC yorkie who is about 1.5 yrs old.in good health..and weighs just under 4 lbs. i think they would make great pups together.. we were SET on breeding them but were planning to wait until the 2nd heat. but now im wondering if possibly it would be just fine for her to breed right now.. as she seems to be mature and is on the bigger side... i just wanted to get some opinions. cuz i dont want to hurt my little girl, but if she's more then ready to breed..id be willing to give it a try.
