That collar looks pretty bulky and heavy. I personally would not use something like that on a yorkie. THey can have weak tracheas and i would be afraid it might bother them with that big part under their chin. It doesn't look very comfortable for them to lay down with it on either. What about a little ID tag that hangs on the collar? They don't weigh much and would serve the same purpose.
all my girls are chipped and they only wear collars as assessories. We use harnesses for walking.
If someone gets your dog, all they have to do is take the collar off.
Microchipping is the way to go IMO!
