Any time you change a dog's food, you should transition over a week to 10 days by mixing in the new with the old until a complete transition takes place. The taste is probably new to her. As awful as SD is, you should mix the SD with the Canidae for a week to gradually wean her off of it. Their little systems can really get upset if you switch them too quickly. Adding water will only dilute the food and make it mushy.
I would also recommend keeping some Nutrastat handy and give her some of that to keep her blood sugar up. If she doesn't eat for a long period of time, she might go into hypoglycemia and you can lose her. Try throwing the kibbles and let her chase them. That might get her to eat too. A puppy should eat several meals a day.
