That's what I was afraid of. It's the complete opposite here. I finished school in December (2006), middle of winter, no construction happening, and I had my employer call my school and leave a message for me to call them that October, and when I called they offered me a job for January! So I didn't even have to apply for jobs at all, and I had one lined up before even graduating. We are in high demand here, but I really just want to go somewhere else for a year or two! I'd like some more worldly experience! But maybe it's just not meant to be.
