I think you'll find a lot of different feeding styles here. I started out by free-feeding with a high quality kibble (Canidae), but one of mine recently started gaining weight. I decided to feed them twice a day. Since they have always been picky eaters, I add a teaspoonful or less of a high-quality canned food on top. They now wolf it down and whine for more. It's tough to ignore, but I want to get the weight down.

I think most people feed kibble, but the home-cooked, canned and raw fans all swear those are superior. I think you just have to do the research and decide what works best for you and your pups.
