Ok here is my BEST piece of advice. Always teether your baby TO YOU! Leash him/her even when just going for a car ride. Ive heard stories of people carrying their babies and some guy tries to steal them from their arms... or another person claiming to want to pet the yorkie through the car window and trying to snatch it through the window. Or even worse, someone walking thier yorkie on a leash and getting knocked down and the yorkie stolen...Even if you are going to carry your baby still put a harness and leash on and tie it to your beltloop or something. If someone tries to take your dog and its tied to you, they won't waste the time (or are less likely to) to untie the leash or take off a harness (they might a collar though - another reason not to use a collar)
