Personally, I don't like them ESPECIALLY for a small dog like a yorkie.
We were at a cookout once where they had an invisible fence for their large dog. A bunch of us decided to try it out.
We joined hands and the first person in line held the collar. I was 5th in line and felt the shock, and I didn't like it at all. I would never use them for a yorkie.
