I'm so sorry about what's happening..I hope this is just a phase as I'm sure it is. I bet she is just jealous and being a little left out...feeling lonely. My dog Kelsey pees right in front of me on the floor and does bad things sometimes to get my attention so that may be what she's doing. I too work during the day a little longer than you so it's hard for me to spend ALL of my free time with her etc. I do have other priorites during the day..so it can get hard. I would recommend spending as much of your extra time with her as possible for a little while and just reassure her that you are there for her and have your kids and husband come to some sort of agreement to do the same thing as well. Maybe she's jealous of your affection with your kids or your husband? I used to have a cat that was jealous of my brothers and sisters when they were babies and it would steal their pacifiers and one day it choked on one and died
It's just that the cat was very jealous and sad that the attention was being taken away from him. Make sense? I hope this helps..and good luck with everything..let us know how things go!
