wow, I didnt Know, I hope everything goes well. My son, who's 32 now, also got in a 4wheeler accident a quad. He was airlifted to the hospital and both bones were sticking out his leg. His biggest problem was the infection. They ended up putting a few different drugs in the drip machine, and UC davis suggested these things that look like pearls, they are antibiotics and they pulled a few out each day. Anyway, he had a hole in his leg for over one year. Its been about 5 yrs now, and 9 surgeries later. He too has big metal rods in his leg. There is hope, and prayer works.
