Not a good idea. With him being so young/potty training /small size .Something is going to happen. peeing on the bed, sleeping on him ,falling of the bed etc.....
Put him in a crate or carrier at night beside the bed. Or buy a ex-pen.
Please buy a mattress cover for your bed.
