Oh my gosh..that's so funny! I don't really remember that much about him other than he was on tv....was he on like once a week or something? I'm not sure, but I remembered what he looked like (of course, the floor length mink in Reno was kind of a giveaway.....this was in around 1977 or '78)....I was so amazed being on the elevator and talking to him it never crossed my mind to ask for an autograph (not my thing anyhow)...but I thought of it afterward when I got back to my unit (he got off on the 3rd floor and I had to go up to the 4th floor)....and I was practically screaming, LOL....one of my patients heard me and she was in there b/c she'd come to SEE him but had a heart attack first...so she got to sit it out .....she wanted his autograph so badly, so I went back down to the unit he had gone to and the witch nurse at the desk there told me to "leave him alone"
....even after I explained why I wanted to see him again. Geeze....I had to go back and tell the poor old lady that I couldn't find him
