I know all about loving an animal more than anything in life...but I just don't get how cloning one would make it be the same animal you've lost. There's only ONE of them....Even if I could have cloned my parrots Nova and Valentino, who I seriously loved more than life itself (I would have DIED trying to keep them safe); I just know that nothing could ever be the same...it's not just the personal attributes of an animal (unless that's all you're after), but it's the HISTORY and life you've shared with them. Nothing but nothing could replace that for me. I'm really kind of lost about this whole thing and would love to hear the reasons people who are interested in it would do it!
