Two things that worry me is, she said she found some dog feces in her yard that she knows wasn't Coco's (it was way to big to be his) but it looked like some of it had been eaten. The other thing that worries me is, she said yesterday he ate some of her plant outside, she said she's not sure is he swallowed any of it. The name of the plant is: Spathiphyllum, is this plant toxic? My suggestion to her was to get a hold of her vet right away and to give him some Kayro or Nutrical, but I don't even know (now that I know he ate a plant) if that is the right thing for her to do. He hasn't eaten since 8 this AM. What's a good canned puppy food she could try and give him, or should she even do that, or should she try the boiled rice and skinless boneless chicken? I still think the best thing she could do would be to go to the vet right away. He's 4 months old.
it could have been the plant... he prob wont be hungry.. try gingersnaps.. ginger settles the stomach... he should be better by tommorrow.. if you go to the vet. they will start an iv and give fluids and charge you 300.... try to get fluids in... some people know how to give fluid injections... but go to the vet for sure...my dogs ate poisonous berrys once... they puke to get the bad stuff out... i think pepto can also be given as i was told by a vet..
but fluids for sure if it is the plant.. he should start eating agaoin when he is better
