My advice:

Get it in writing. Don't just accept their word or what they tell you about any agreement regarding what you want, where you will be going, what you will be doing and what you are getting. It will have no value if it isn't in writing. And there won't be a darn thing you can do about it. So....get it in writing. Recruiters have quotas they are targeting and are there to enlist you. What happens to you after that is usually of no concern to them.
