I have 3 Yorkie's, and only 1 out of the 3 stick their tongue out? Artie sticks the tip of his tongue out when he is sleeping and snores heavily. My other 2 that are females, Mother & Daughter don't do it at all? I wonder if it's a Trained Behaviour? Everytime I see him doing it I tell him how cute he is! So maybe it's another Trick to make me pay more attention to him? Since he has me Trained so well?
