and a word to those who actually GO TO FLEA MARKETS - remember - many or most of these cute little 'puppies' have NEVER SEEN A VET - Parvo runs rampant. I know this because I've heard from people in houston that learned that hard lesson.
People need to talk about this more and tell ANYONE YOU SEE At these 'flea' markets (and there probably ARE fleas at most of them) that this is NOT THE PLACE TO BUY A PUPPY - I feel so sorry for the dogs involved - but there is only heartache in their future. It should be against the LAW. |
That's what I was thinking! I just can't imagine buying a puppy and not knowing if it had seen a vet. My friend said she saw a woman buying one of the yorkies...she didn't seen any papers being exchanged, though I don't think she watched the whole thing so who knows.
