I'm glad you brought this up. I have a male that several people have inquired about using as a stud. I understand about matching the dogs properly and the health screening but have found that stud contracts have widely varying terms as far as fees or a pick of the litter. So far I haven't agreed to it because I'm really undecided about whether I want to do it and what would be fair and equitable if I did. It would be interesting to hear from those who have actually done this before.
