This is a tough one. Your Lab is so much bigger and even just a slight swap of the paw could be pretty strong feeling for your Yorkie. I'm thinking that with supervision (very close of course) you can watch your Lab and Yorkie together and Jackson might learn to "duck or move quickly" and "respect" your Lab being bigger and stronger. Dogs are pretty smart, Im guessing that your Lab can sense that Jackson is smaller and in his own way trys to be gentle. And I bet Jackson will learn to know when it's time to get out of the Labs way.

I've never dealt with this kinda situation but keep us posted on how it is working out later.
