Oh the flea market thing is awful here too... they pay 5.00 to get into a "special" section of the parking lot and people sell filthy, sickly puppies out of the trunks of their cars....

OCASSIONALLY, there will be a "pretty puppy" with a "breeder" who's at LEAST taken the time to bathe and brush him and brought out an xpen or something to give them some more space, but the whole thing is just awful.

I don't think the experience frightens the pups so much though... they always seem (if they're well enough to even show emotion) super thrilled just having nice people come by and pet, play with and pay attention to them.... poor things...
