"It is hard when the vet is saying one thing and YT is saying another. I know that vets can't possibly know everything... and they have different opinions, I just don't want to miss anything. I don't want to regret not doing something."

I had the same issue with my last litter. The vet said let nature take its course and don't supplement the puppies. He also said with a large litter be prepared to lose 2 or 3. Now I love this vet. He is really the best around here, but I certainly didn't feel right about what he was saying. So I went with YT recommendations on supplementing, and saved all 7 of them. You really have to take charge of your own puppy's care. Make the decisions based upon all the information and your own gut feelings. i think you will be happier that way, and will be able to live with the decision's outcome.

Hoping you had a good night, and that things are more settled today.

P.S. The reason he said don't supplement was he wanted the puppies to get the colostrum from mom. Reasonable, but it wasn't working for me... so I supplemented the puppies.
