So glad your little one was OK.
This happend to me but I was in the house and Alfie was quite small at the time and he somehow got the collar stuck n his teeth and he was quite distraught!!! So I never leave a collar on ever if Iam not there and you wont do it again as you will never forget it , at least there was no harm done so dont beat yourself up about it.
