wow... this makes me nervous because Kash wears a collar all day while i'm gone, but nothing bad has ever happened.
i don't think he even notices it's on him because he's never tried to bite it off or anything... but after reading this thread, it makes me wonder if i should only put it on him while i'm at home...
the only reason he wears it is because it has a bell on it, and i need to be able to hear him (wherever he may be). when i first got him, i accidentally kicked him a couple of times while walking because i didn't know he was so close to my feet. so, i put a collar with a bell on him, and now i can hear if he's near me, and avoid stepping on him! lol. but i guess it's not a necessity if i'm not home.
i know that just because nothing bad has happened so far, doesn't mean it won't in the future! so the collar is staying off while he's home alone.
