Ilona's Delights Hi Jan,
I have never met Ilona, but I have spoken to her many times over the past year and have admired and appreciated her expertise/knowledge in the breed of yorkies and biewers. She has given me so much advice.
I came across her thru a referral from another breeder in another state. I have been a pom breeder for over 6 years, but someone broke into my home and stole all my babies. Unfortunately, the police were of no help and ruined my case by informing my suspect.
Anyways, it's been over a year and although it's hard to forget my pom babies, I'm ready to adopt both yorkies and biewers and have learned so much from Ilona and hope to learn more.
She is the Vice President of Biewer Terrier Club of America, Inc. and she always strives to better the breed of yorkies and biewers. She is a very reputable breeder and works with novices without hesitation.
Keep in mind that rescue dogs cost money too for food, shelter, medication etc. and even animal shelters ask for "adoption fees" to help offset costs. There's also a better chance that the "customer" would take care of the animal if it cost them some money as oppose if they got it for free.
Poochi, I would highly recommend that you go see her.
