After takin gher to the vet there were no more puppies the vet said it must of been feces. she had 7 females. she retained 1 placenta even after getting the oxytocin injection. the puppies want to nurse continuously. I have been able to shave all the hair away from her inverted nipples and the pups have been able to latch onto them. I have been using karo syrup and puppy formula to keep there strength up to grab ahold and stimulate milk production. I am not sure a let down reflex has occured but she is letting them all latch on and she will roll over on her back to let them have easier access to the nipples on the other side. she has made up for not eating over the last 24 hours. |
