The vet is a vet hospital and open 24 hours. We are currently waiting for a call back to ask more questions. At the advice of another YT member I started her on goats milk, karo syrup, and nutri-drops. She had a normal stool when we came home from the vet at 1pm and has peed twice. She nursed with mom a little but I could tell she was getting tired... that is when I have her the goats milk.

It is hard when the vet is saying one thing and YT is saying another. I know that vets can't possibly know everything... and they have different opinions, I just don't want to miss anything. I don't want to regret not doing something.

I am leaning toward hypoglycima (but she never seemed out of it... or loopy. In fact she would look me straight in the eye... just extremely sluggish. Maybe I caught it before it got to that point?). That just doesn't explain the browinsh blood stained discharge to me. But, the vet was pretty sure that was change of diet and maybe that led to the hypoglycimic episode.

I will keep you updated... but we aren't letting her leave our sight! We are hoping all we are doing gets her well soon.
