Hi Jan, I know this is not something you wanted to hear but Ilona does not raise mixed breeds and I'm sure that 2 months after her initial post, she has found a puppy, so your point was?
With all due respect, rescues can vary in cost.
Some are local families that don't want to turn the dog/puppy over to a shelter, so Ilona will assist them in placing their dog.
Thank you Dee, Amanda and Jean for trying to help Jan understand about Ilona's involvement with dogs in need, regardless of the breed.
