First off, welcome to YT! You will find a lot of great & knowledgable people here I do not think it's a bad idea to put down a puppy pad at night. This is what I am doing with Bear & even though I am potty training him for outside, he also uses the puppy pads. I know that he can't hold it for very long & that when he gets older he'll be able to hold it for longer, so once he's a bit older I will do away with the puppy pads. As a rule of thumb, puppies can hold their pee by how many months old they are. For example, since your puppy is a month old, she can hold it for one hour. I also got Bear at a VERY young age (too young unfortunately, but it's too late to do anything about it now) - I got him when he was only six weeks. As for treats, I really don't know, lol. I can't give Bear any treats right now because he doesn't have any teeth to chew them, hahaa. So I'm holding off on the treats until he gets his baby teeth in. I look forward to seeing pictures of your bby & to seeing you here on the forums!
