Well we are back from the vet... and he ruled out worms for sure. She had no temp and her vitals were all great. He gave her a bunch of fluids, some meds for vomiting and amoxicilian.

How does the mom get coccidia? Lilly hasn't been anywhere in over six months and she is rarely outside except to pee. She has no exposure to other animals and she has all of her vaccinations obviously.

Sophie (the puppy) had a solid stool when we came home. It was never watery... just on the softer side. The bloody discharge is what made me run to the vet as fast as I could. She is still very sleepy.

The vet told me to take her off any kind of puppy food and just let her nurse from mom... but she doesn't seem interested. I thought I would let the meds kick in.

Is there anything you guys suggest I do that I might not be doing?
